私はこの長いプロジェクトの最終段階で、写真そのものを十分に表現するため、使用する素材や紙を選ぶことの重要性に気づきました。ヴァンヌーボV-FSを使用した本の例をいくつか見て、すぐさまこれは私が使うべき紙だと直感しました。ヴァンヌーボV-FSの表面には美しいテクスチャーと輝きがあります。非塗工のように見えるラフな表面から色が浮き上がってくるようです。（Sandberg&Timonen）
While working on the final stages of finishing this long-term project, I realised the importance of choosing materials and papers that would give the photographs justice. I had seen some examples of other books using the VENT NOVEAU paper and immediately knew that this was my paper. The surface has this beautiful texture and brilliance about it and in some magical way colours pop out of the uncoated surface.（Sandberg&Timonen）
